Using an umbrella had always been annoying to me, as it is such a cumbersome object to hold whilst carrying other objects. The remnants of rainwater are also something that bothered me. Hence, I conceptualized what I imagined is the perfect umbrella. The idea is inspired by Ray Bradbury’s short story All Summer in a Day. Similar to the writing, the world in which humans are living will be raining all year long with only a few moments of sunshine. In such an environment like this, this umbrella becomes a necessity and therefore is altered for convenience.
